Radicals in power have already devoured our First Amendment right to Freedom of Conscience through ObamaCare and have repeatedly chomped on our Freedom of Speech in the ongoing “homosexual rights” campaign. Now these insatiable socialists are drooling all over our Second Amendment right to bear arms!

High-level meetings have been taking place all week between Vice President Biden, his “gun control task force,” and organizations on both sides of the gun control debate.
As you doubtless know, following the Sandy Hook tragedy, the gun control issue has moved front and center in Barack Obama’s agenda and the public discourse. This is a divisive and controversial issue, but our constitutional rights are clear and must be preserved at all costs!
NRA: Meetings had nothing to do with keeping children safe.
Following a contentious meeting between Joe Biden, the National Rifle Association (NRA), and other pro-Second Amendment organizations, the NRA blasted the false pretenses under which the meetings were convened…
“We were disappointed with how little this meeting had to do with keeping our children safe and how much it had to do with an agenda to attack the Second Amendment…
While claiming that no policy proposals would be ‘prejudged,’ this task force spent most of its time on proposed restrictions on lawful firearms owners — honest, taxpaying, hard-working Americans.”
It is unfortunate that this administration continues to insist on pushing failed solutions to our nation’s most pressing problems.”
As you have probably already observed, the deck in this “search for solutions” is completely stacked! The President and Vice President long ago made their political calculations and made up their minds on their course of action.
Vice President Biden recently declared…
“The President is going to act. There are Executive Orders, executive action, that can be taken…we haven’t decided what that is yet.”
In response, former Governor Mike Huckabee called the President’s potential plan to use Executive Orders…“contempt for the Constitution and Congress.”
Rush Limbaugh called it a “gun power grab.”
Newt Gingrich said, “The president in his second term…is going to push everything he can to the edge.”
This President’s threat of using an Executive Order to implement gun control is just the proverbial camel’s nose in the tent…
Here are the facts:
An Executive Order cannot create a law. It can only be used to enforce or clarify the boundaries of an existing law. An Executive Order, as a decree, cannot trump the clear language of the Constitution. Executive Orders were never intended to bypass Congress or the Constitution – yet, that’s precisely how President Obama has used the many Executive Orders he has issued during his presidency.
For four years, we have witnessed the Obama axis of power repeatedly run roughshod over the Constitution, the rule of law, and the clear will of the American people.
