Tomorrow, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence is scheduled to vote on the Obama nomination of John O. Brennan to head our Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

If confirmed, Brennan will be the most pro-Islam director to ever head the agency.Many Americans don’t know that John Brennan has years of roots in the Middle East…

*He is a former CIA station chief in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
*He traveled the Middle East as a college student in the 1970’s. During his travels, he said, “I learned about the goodness, beauty of Islam.” It is alleged by an ex-FBI Agent that Brennan made a conversion to *Islam during this period.
*More recently, he called Islamic jihad a “legitimate tenet of Islam” and has argued that the term “jihadists” should not be used to describe America’s enemies.
*He is known as the architect of the drone “kill list” program.
*Most telling of all is that Brennan, as Chief Counterterrorism Advisor under Barack Obama, initiated policy changes to usher in compliance to Islamic sensibilities to the FBI and the Department of Homeland *Security – including training programs designed to appease Muslims.

John Brennan is simply the wrong choice to head the CIA!

Author and Columnist Andrew McCarthy said it succinctly…

“A country that was serious about its national security would never put John Brennan in charge of its premier intelligence service. Mr. Brennan…is the incarnation of willful blindness. His tenure as Obama’s top national security advisor has been about helping our enemies throw sand in our eyes and thus enabling the sabotage.”

Barry Rubin, the Director of the Global Research in International Affairs (GLORIA) Center and editor of the Middle East Review of International Affairs (MERIA) Journal wrote…

“[John] Brennan’s only life accomplishment has been to propose backing radical Islamists. As a reward, he isn’t just being made head of intelligence for the Middle East but for the whole world!

With Brennan running the CIA, though, do you think there will be critical intelligence evaluations of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hizballah, or even Hamas? Is the CIA going to warn U.S. leaders about the repression against women, Christians, and moderates? Will there be warnings that Islamists are taking over Syria or reports on Islamist involvement in killing Americans in Benghazi? Can we have confidence about U.S. policy toward Iran?”

The Senate Intelligence Committee is scheduled to vote on John Brennan’s confirmation tomorrow, although on Sunday, Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain threatened to delay the vote pending the Obama administration providing long-requested information about the attacks on our Embassy in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012. Now is a truly strategic time to take action!

I am asking you to join me in this opportunity to do our best to derail another Obama sycophant who favors appeasement, unilateral disarmament, and a badly misguided Middle East foreign policy.

With the vote scheduled for Tuesday (and assuming Senators Graham and McCain are unsuccessful at delaying the vote), we have just 24 hours to tell your two Senators – and many other members of the Senate – to oppose the Brennan nomination.

Even if the vote is delayed, this is an excellent opportunity to derail the ill-advised promotion of John Brennan to the office of CIA Director!
