Breaking news on Benghazi scandal

Mathew Staver, Chairman
Liberty Counsel Action.

Fox News is reporting that on Tuesday…

“Congressional staffers from the House Armed Services, Foreign Affairs, Intelligence, Judiciary and the Government Oversight committees met for a closed door ‘status report’ on their committees’ respective investigations into the Benghazi terrorist attack.”

According to information emerging from the meeting, it’s believed that three American diplomatic security agents were among those injured in the terrorist attack, one seriously.

It’s now also believed that 37 people working for the State Department and CIA were at the Benghazi annex at the time of the attacks.

Who they are – where they are – and when will they be able to testify remains a mystery… even to members of Congress! They are the links to understanding the events that unfolded that day.

The Washington Times is also reporting that a terror suspect is “being detained and questioned in Libya” by the FBI.

This disclosure comes in the wake of an earlier meeting between the Libyan Prime Minister, Ali Zeidan, and President Obama. The Prime Minister promised to “work with the U.S. government to reach the truth.”

There is widespread speculation that the Prime Minister would not allow our investigative agencies to interrogate suspected Libyans unless President Obama made other concessions.

Our aggressive campaign to get the truth is getting traction!

I firmly believe that the ongoing pressure from grassroots Americans, like our many friends of Liberty Counsel Action, is keeping this issue alive in the halls of Congress and in the public discourse.

Of course, the Obama administration would love nothing more than for this foreign policy quagmire to simply disappear.

But there have been allegations of a cover-up since the day the administration blamed the attacks on Islamic revenge for an obscure anti-Muslim video, and we refuse to turn a blind eye and accept such lame explanations.

Over 66,000 friends of Liberty Counsel Action so far have demanded to know the truth!

Liberty Counsel Action continues to call on members of our team to tell lawmakers that we insist on receiving a full and honest investigation into the Benghazi cover-up.

Please, join us in insisting there be a credible investigation into the Benghazi disaster by clicking here and adding your name to our petition DEMANDING a full congressional investigation!

Petition delivery next week!

Representative Frank Wolf (R-VA), a champion in pushing for an investigation into the Benghazi attacks, is disgusted over how little has been done…

“After all this time, it’s shameful that the American public, the media, and – most importantly – the Obama administration, has turned its back on the families of the victims and allowed terrorists to escape justice for this long. The time is now to right this historic wrong and pass my resolution to create a select committee to investigate this horrendous event.”

Representative Wolf has been pushing for the creation of a select committee to investigate the Benghazi attack since last November. His legislation, H. Res. 36, currently has more than 60 cosponsors.

We strongly endorse Frank Wolf’s legislation and are similarly calling for a complete congressional investigation!

Next week, we will hand-deliver our petition to key congressional offices, including Rep. Wolf’s office, as a show of solidarity.

I would love to deliver 75,000 names on our call for this full congressional investigation – and include your name! But I need for you to take one minute now and add your name…

Join us in this important initiative to stand for those Americans who were brutally murdered at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists, and to bring those accountable for this debacle to light.

The shameful cover-up must stop!

I want to extend my prayers and blessings to all of those who were there in Benghazi on that fatal night of 9/11/2012. For all of the families and friends who are still mourning you and waiting for some type of closure and justice to be served for your deaths and aggravated assaults. The country mourns you and we continue to pray for you... May you be resting in peace in God's Kingdom... Cherie

It's obvious that Washington doesn't care about life - not in Benghazi, not Fast and Furious, not Obamacare. All we can do is keep putting their feet to the fire, be persistant, spread the word as best we can since the press obviously isn't doing their job, and pray!!

President Nixon was impeached for his cover-up of Watergate. This cover-up in Benghazi was way more severe.
