Appalling (Christians in Defense of Israel)

The UN agency tasked with solving the Palestinian refugee crisis makes it worse every year. Even more appalling, you and I have been paying the mounting bill as American taxpayers. But new legislation will help fix this abuse. Learn more below and join me in calling on Congress to pass this vital measure.

The UN chartered UNRWA in 1949 to provide short-term relief and resettlement for some 700,000 Arabs, many in Gaza.

The problem was supposed to be solved in a year. But nearly 70 years later, the number of so-called “refugees” has ballooned to more than 5 million!

Why? Because UNRWA inflates the count by defining the descendants of original Palestine refugees as refugees, too. No other relief agency counts refugees this way but UNRWA, which takes the Palestinian side in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.Instead of resettling refugees and solving the refugee crisis, UNRWA nourishes the false hope in these refugee descendants that they will one day return to the homes and their villages inside Israel where their parents and grandparents once lived.

And in so doing UNRWA perpetuates the refugee problem and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

To make this all the more ironic and outrageous, the U.S., which for decades has worked to solve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, has also been the chief donor to UNRWA . . . the agency most responsible for prolonging the conflict.

Just last year, U.S. taxpayers gave $368 million to UNRWA . . . and have donated some $7 billion since 1949.

It’s time for this to end and now there is a way . . . with your help.

+ + We are calling for UNRWA accountability and for Congress to take action.

Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO) wants accountability! He recently introduced a bill to reduce U.S. UNRWA aid, limiting it to actual refugees while cutting off refugee descendants. In a statement, he said:

“We must return UNRWA to its original framework and address this false narrative of an inflated refugee population, which has made a mockery of both those who are true refugees around the world and those who are truly living in deplorable conditions throughout the region.”

If you agree that Congress should pass Lamborn’s bill, the “UNRWA Reform and Refugee Support Act,” CLICK HERE NOW to add your name to our petition if you haven’t already done so.

The “UNRWA Reform and Refugee Support Act” is a solid step toward accountability.

Again, please join me in petitioning Congress to pass this critical legislation. CLICK HERE NOW to add your name to our petition supporting the “UNRWA Reform and Refugee Support Act.”

Thank you for joining me!

God bless you. God bless the USA. God bless Israel.
