Tomorrow, Secretary of State John Kerry will be in Paris to drive another of Barack Obama’s stakes through the heart of Israel. The so-called “peace conference,” which is a cloaked anti-Israel gathering of delegations from 75 nations, is expected to result in another international agreement that states that peace in the Middle East will only come through a two-state solution. The international community will once again demand that Israel return to its pre-1967 borders, which include East Jerusalem, home to some of Judaism’s most holy sites.
Israeli and the Palestinian officials will not be attendance.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared the meeting an anti-Israel sham. He said, “It’s a rigged conference, rigged by the Palestinians with French auspices, to adopt additional anti-Israel stances. This pushes peace backwards.”
And the UN could endorse the outcome of this conference with another anti-Israel resolution just before President-elect Trump takes office! These anti-Israel resolutions will purposefully ratchet up world pressure on Israel, give fresh momentum to the BDS movement, embolden terrorists, and encourage violence and bloodshed in the Middle East.
+ + The international communities fail to acknowledge the elephant in the room.
The UN resolution ignores the fact that the Palestinian Authority and the Hamas government in Gaza refuse to recognize Israel’s right to exist. In fact, both groups want every square inch of Israel—including Jerusalem—for themselves. There can never be a two-state solution under these circumstances.
Under Barack Obama’s misguided policies, for the first time in 40 years, the United States is not standing by our strongest ally in the Middle East.
That’s why we are calling on friends of Israel to join us in petitioning Congress and the incoming Trump administration to pass pro-Israel bills, cut off funding to the United Nations, and reduce or cut foreign aid to nations supporting the UN resolution!
God bless you. God bless America. And God bless Israel.
