From the Desk of Mat Staver
Muslim terror group Hamas is gearing up for another mass uprising along Israel's southern border fence this Friday.
Media reports call it a "protest," but it's a Hamas-led attack on Israel. For instance, 10 of the 15 people reported killed last Friday at the Israel-Gaza fence were Palestinian terrorists.
Israel's foreign ministry warns Hamas is "preparing for violent riots and armed combat on the Israeli border this coming Friday." Preparations include thousands of mirrors and laser pointers to shine into the eyes of IDF soldiers. Hamas is also piling thousands of tires to set aflame and create a smoke barrier at the border.
But don't look for details like that in American coverage of this growing assault on Israeli sovereignty.
+ + Fake news disguised as honest journalism.
The mainstream media's reports on the conflict once again blame Israel. The New York Times claims that Israeli oppression prompted the protests.
Israeli columnist Caroline Glick says the bias is so pronounced that "Hamas's partners in its war against Israel" is the media.
+ + But you can deliver an entirely different message to the Israeli people!
You can endorse Israel's right to defend its borders and send a warm, heartfelt message to the people of Israel today. With Israel's 70th birthday just weeks away, you can join thousands of other friends of Israel in wishing Israel a "Happy 70th Anniversary."
Israel declared its statehood on May 14, 1948 and this year's celebration of that historic event will be all the happier because May 14 is also the date on which President Trump plans to open the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem, Israel's eternal capital;
+ + How to defeat fake news!
One potent solution to blatant media bias against Israel is the reporting of truth through the production of powerful, well-packaged TV programs about amazing, modern Israel.
But, it won't happen without you.
God bless you. God bless Israel.
