After sending mixed signals about ISIS over the past couple of days, President Obama returned to a hardline stance against the evil terror group. At the close of this week’s NATO conference in Europe, Mr. Obama—citing “unity” and “conviction” among our allies—said, “We have to act as part of the international community to degrade and ultimately destroy (ISIS).”

Americans can only hope that Mr. Obama doesn’t change his mind once again.

ISIS is a well-financed, far-reaching terror group that has stated its ambitions to “raise the flag of allah in the White House” and to “drown you all in blood.” For months, these hardened, barbaric terrorists have kidnapped, raped, and murdered thousands across Syria and Iraq. Perhaps, finally, the President will put the full weight of the U.S. military to work and “ultimately destroy” this enemy.

ISIS must be stopped before these cruel and sadistic terrorists kidnap, rape, and murder more Iraqi Christians and other religious minorities.

Based on reports I’m hearing, this needs to happen—immediately! Earlier today, RUN Ministries president Eric Watt contacted Liberty Counsel Action to share another letter he received from a second ISIS victim in northern Iraq.

Karim was born and raised in northwestern Iraq. A husband and father of young children, he wrote to Eric about his family’s horrific encounter with these cruel and sadistic terrorists:

Our village was destroyed by the Islamic groups, and my house was destroyed. My wife got bad injuries, and we became homeless.

After one week, the terrorists released us, but we had nowhere to go. Life was very difficult without water and food. We escaped to the mountains, but after walking for two days, my small children and my wife could not continue.

We were so weak without food and water that we had only one choice: waiting for death.

That same night, I heard sounds and I thought, Now animals are coming, and they will kill us. My wife said, “Close your eyes.” So we closed our eyes and prepared to die. After a few seconds, a man spoke and said, “We want to help you.”

I was amazed to see people who came with water and food and rescued us from death. They brought us to the “Community of Hope” refugee camps.

I want to pray and thank the Christian brothers and sisters who supported us to have these refugee camps. I’m alive today with my family because of you. Thank you. God bless you all.—Karim

RUN Ministries’ rescue and relief efforts have helped more than 7,000 displaced Iraqi men, women and children.

More than 7,000 people, so far, have turned to RUN Ministries volunteers for help and protection. As I told you in my previous update, Eric says two “Community Of Hope” refugee camps are now fully operational. That means some 2,000 Iraqi Christians and other religious minorities—like Karim and his family—are receiving food, water, shelter, and ISIS protection.

But that still leaves 5,000 displaced men, women, and children waiting for their “Community of Hope” to be built. And with 200 to 300 new refugees arriving every day, this rescue and relief effort is far from over.

Can you help meet this overwhelming and constantly increasing need? If so, please click here or on the image below to support RUN’s ongoing humanitarian efforts in northern Iraq:

Members of RUN Ministries’ network of believers in the Middle East are risking their lives to continue this dangerous and lifesaving work. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support the volunteers standing in the gap for hundreds of families who have been forced from their homes and have lost everything.

Every gift makes a difference! Even if you’ve already taken action to support RUN, thousands of displaced Iraqi men, women, and children still need your help. Click here to donate now.

Thank you and God bless you for your ongoing support!
