Our troops agree with President Trump. Do you? (LCAction)

Mat Staver, Chairman
Liberty Counsel Action

Last year, former President Obama’s radical pro-LGBT agenda forced a highly unpopular and challenging policy into the ranks of our military by opening the barracks’ doors to transgenders during a time when our troops are extensively engaged in international conflict and deployed world wide.

In response, a Military Times/Institute for Veterans and Military Families poll found that “57 percent of active-duty military personnel expressed a negative opinion of the decision to allow transgender troops to serve openly. More than half of that group said the policy change had a very negative effect on military morale. Roughly 41 percent thought it would hurt the units,” as reported by the Navy Times.

The duty of military officers is to appropriately lead and prepare their personnel for engagement, proficiency in their work, and discipline — not to oversee social engineering within their quarters or place of work.

+ + Reverse the misguided Obama policy!

Last week, President Trump determined that: “After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow…transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming…victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you.”

A majority of our service men and women agree with President Trump and his military experts’ assessments.  Do you agree?

If so, please add your name to Liberty Counsel Action’s support for the President’s bold decision through our “I Stand With the President in Support of our Troops’ Safety, Readiness, and Cohesiveness!”petition.

+ + Liberty Counsel Action pushed for this policy change!

Liberty Counsel Action has been involved in this military issue and has been meeting with White House officials and others about the need to reverse the Obama policy. We stressed the importance of the President’s power to direct his generals to prioritize unit cohesion and military readiness rather than sacrificing them to the demands of the transgender lobby.

The military is a lethal weapon designed to protect America and our allies. The President has kept his promise to return to military priorities by not continuing the transgender policy that undermines unit cohesion, preparedness, and morale.

If you agree with President Trump in determining that “Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory…” and not politically correct distractions from their core mission, click here to add your name to LCA’s  “I Stand With the President in Support of our Troops’ Safety, Readiness, and Cohesiveness!”petition.

Thank you for joining with us!

P.S. In the final months of their administration, President Obama and Secretary of Defense Ash Carter, neither of whom ever served in the military, forced this unwise and potentially damaging policy into the ranks of our military.

The United States military is not the place for social experimentation. The focus should always be military readiness and unit cohesion.

Please be sure to add your name to our petition, which states:

“In support of the United States of America’s military and those who serve, I stand with President Trump in determining that “Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory…” and not politically correct distractions from their core mission.

The United States military is not the place for social experimentation, a proving ground for gender identity theories, or a place to get free medical care for sex change operations. Please keep social experimentation out of our military. End the Obama administration’s social experimentation.”
