Pres. Trump: “A very big decision” coming

President Trump told CBN News that “A very big decision” is coming on the possibility of moving the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. That statement was made just days before it was announced that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is coming to D.C. to meet with the president.

Christians in Defense of Israel’s petition to President Trump calls for his administration to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and we will deliver them just prior to this very important meeting. We need as many petition signatures as possible prior to that delivery for maximum impact! Click here to immediately add your name to this vital petition.

President Trump has long favored the idea of moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and promised the move in his presidential campaign. Since then, he has faced tremendous backlash from domestic and international leaders opposed to the move.
And his own administration has wavered on its commitment to the move. “We are at the very beginning stages of even discussing this subject,” White House press secretary Sean Spicer said last week.

Palestinian leaders have promised violence if the embassy is moved to Jerusalem, as they believe that Jerusalem will one day be the capital of the future Palestinian state.

The potential threat of violence is among the reasons why President Trump told CBN News:

“We are studying it very, very long and hard. You know it’s a very big decision, because every president for the last number of presidents … they’ve come in and they were going to do it and then all of a sudden they decide they don’t want to get involved. It’s a big, big decision, but we’re studying the issue right now.”

The fact is, the Hamas terrorist government in Gaza and the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah do not want peace and will never recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state. Hamas has vowed to fly their flag over Israel. Israel does exist and Jerusalem is its capital.

Because we stand with Israel, we must make our voice heard at full volume and we must do so now! Christians in Defense of Israel is petitioning our nation’s leadership to finally take action on behalf of The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, acknowledge Jerusalem as the undisputed and undivided capital of Israel, and move the U.S. Embassy to the City of David.

+ + Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to meet with President Trump on February 15th!

On Monday, White House press secretary Sean Spicer announced the upcoming meeting and stated, “[O]ur relationship with the only democracy in the Middle East is crucial to the security of both our nations, and the president looks forward to discussing continued strategic, technological, military and intelligence cooperation with the prime minister.”

Prior to being elected, Mr. Trump issued a similar statement saying, “My administration will stand side by side with Israel and Jewish leaders… Together, we will make America and Israel safe again.”

We will deliver our petitions to Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer, the White House, and selected congressional leaders ahead of the February 15th meeting.

That means we must have a massive show of solidarity in calling for the embassy move! We need EVERY friend of Israel to take part in this petition drive. One click here and your name will be automatically and immediately added to the petition.

We must stand with and for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.

God bless you. God bless Israel. God bless America.
