President Trump has less than 30 days (CIDI)

President Donald Trump’s campaign promise to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem is now facing a May 1st deadline.
That’s why you and I must make our voice heard now. The Arab world is pressuring the President not to put the embassy in Jerusalem, as U.S. law requires. But you can help him stand against these forces and fulfill his campaign promise to voters like you.
Click here now to add your name to our petition urging President Trump to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.

My message below contains further information – Mat

On October 23, 1995, Congress overwhelmingly passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995. The law required the embassy to be moved to Jerusalem no later than May 31, 1999. But the law was never implemented because of opposition from former Presidents Clinton, Bush, and Obama.

Each one has taken advantage of a waiver provision in the Jerusalem Embassy Act, enabling presidents to certify, every six months, that, for security reasons, it is not yet time to move the U.S. embassy.

President Obama signed his final waiver of the Jerusalem Embassy Act on December 1, 2016 (pictured on the right).

The next presidential waiver—if there is to be one—is due on May 1, 2017.

Urge president Trump to stop wavering and make good on his very clear campaign commitment. (video link)

Christians in Defense of Israel is petitioning President Trump and other leaders to finally take action on behalf of The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, acknowledge Jerusalem as the undisputed and undivided capital of Israel, and move the U.S. Embassy to the City of David.

These petitions will be delivered to the White House, to Congressional leaders, and to Ron Dermer, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States.
We have delayed the petition delivery into next week for two reasons:

Friday, the original scheduled delivery date is also the anticipated vote on Judge Neil Gorsuch.. and … we are still far short of our goal of 100,000 signatures. But you can help change that now!

+ + Ambassador David Friedman is our new ally in supporting the embassy relocation.
David Friedman’s confirmation as the next U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mat & David Friedmangives Christians in Defense of Israel a powerful new ally on the ground in Israel and inside the Trump administration!

As you may know, Ambassador Friedman is a strong proponent of the embassy move.

We must not accept a backtrack on this campaign promise.

It will take many pro-Israel Americans to make an impact on this very divisive issue. That’s why we need EVERY friend of Israel to take part in this petition drive.

Together, we can rise up and make our voices heard. Together, we can take a stand for what is right. The world may not be willing to stand for Israel, but you and I know what the word of God commands!  We must stand with and for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.

Click here to become part of this powerful movement that will forever redefine U.S. – Israeli relations!

God bless you. God bless Israel. God bless America.

Mat Staver, President
Christians in Defense of Israel

P.S. Again, Christians in Defense of Israel is petitioning the Trump administration and other U.S. leaders to move the U.S. Embassy to the City of David. The city of Jerusalem is not just the rightful capital of Israel, sacred to the Jewish people.  It is also home to the holiest places of the Christian faith.
