This is NOT insignificant

LRI is working with a Christ-centered partner to provide Bibles and other discipleship resources to persecuted Christians, new believers with Muslim backgrounds, and spiritual seekers in the Middle East. The MIRACLE HARVEST is continuing with tens of thousands leaving Islam and coming to Christ! But if Muslim new believers don’t receive active discipleship within six to twelve months, three-quarters of them will likely return to Islam. Please see my previous message below to learn how you can help deliver Bibles to men, women, and children who want to know more about Jesus. Or click here to help now — Mat.

Dear Friend,

A few weeks ago, I told you about a conference call with one of our Christ-centered partners working on the front lines of God’s MIRACLE HARVEST in the Middle East. We learned that Muslims who are coming to Christ in the region are seeking a new identity in Him.

Usually, a person who leaves Islam is called a “Muslim-background believer” or “MBB” after accepting Jesus. But many of the men, women, and children who leave Islam no longer prefer the term “Muslim-background believer.” Now, they consider themselves “Believers with Muslim backgrounds” or “BMBs” so they can identify as “believers” in Christ first and former Muslims second.

While the distinction might seem insignificant, it’s an entirely new way to look at the tens of thousands who are leaving Islam after encountering Jesus! These BMBs are part of the MIRACLE HARVEST of souls who urgently need Bibles.

In that conference call, our Christ-centered partner explained why it’s so important to reach these BMBs as soon as possible. We learned that if active discipleship is not provided within six months to a year after they convert, 75 percent of new believers with Muslim backgrounds return to Islam.

Liberty Relief International (LRI) wants to do everything we can to keep that from happening. You can help make sure it doesn’t by supporting our efforts to help provide God’s Word to persecuted Christians, new believers, and spiritual seekers in the Middle East. The same Christ-centered partner on that conference call can provide ISIS refugees and victims of Syria’s devastating civil war with copies of God’s Word for just $5 each.

The road for those navigating a “secret faith” in the Middle East is dangerous and sometimes deadly. Recently, our ministry partner in the region shared this urgent appeal for Bibles from the front lines:

Our partners on the ground in Muslim-dominated territories report countless Muslims risking everything to turn from Islam and follow Jesus. And the one thing these new believers pray for the most is a copy of the Bible. Together we can be the answer to their prayers by providing Bibles to help them stand strong against severe persecution and advance the gospel in areas of the world where faith costs the most!

This month, LRI wants to raise $20,000 over and above our normal operating expenses to support the MIRACLE HARVEST in the Middle East. But as of today, we’re only about 60 percent of the way to that goal. Please help feed the Word of God to persecuted Christians, believers with Muslim backgrounds, and spiritual seekers who want to know more about Jesus. Click here to donate now.

Thank you, in advance, for being a light in the darkness.

P.S. Again, I want to LRI friends like you to help provide Bibles to persecuted Christians, BMBs, and spiritual seekers in the Middle East. It costs our Christ-centered partner in the region about $5 to get a copy of God’s Word into the hands of someone who wants to know more about Jesus. Will you help make an eternal impact with a gift of $50 or $100 today? Click here or on the banner below to make a tax-deductible donation of any amount to support LRI’s efforts to provide Bibles and other critical resources in the Middle East, as we continue other vital outreaches:
